myPhotoClub is now Photo Club Hub - what's changing, and what isn't.
Hello from photoclubHub - and a note to myPhotoClub members
#whoWeServeIf you’ve heard the news about myPhotoClub, you’re probably wondering what it means for you. We want to answer that directly.
Earlier this year, photoclubHub acquired Colin Woods’ myPhotoClub platform. If you’re a myPhotoClub member or competition organiser, your platform continues to work exactly as it always has. Nothing changes for you today.
Australian Photography clubs will continue to be supported by Colin via myPhotoClubs, but non-Australian clubs, and competitions no-matter which country will me managed by photoclubHub. The table below helps to describe who does what going forward…
A little about us
My name is Kevin Akers. I’m co-founder and product lead at photoclubHub, and a hobbyist photographer of more years than I care to count. I’ve been a member of the North Shore Photography Society in Auckland, New Zealand for close to 10 years, and have served on the Committee, so I know what it means to run a club competition from the inside.
My co-founder Ricardo and I have worked together in web development since 2017. He’s the technical lead who’ll be building on the foundation Colin created. Together, we’re committed to doing it justice.
Together we have created photoclubHub, where our purpose is simple:

Why we acquired myPhotoClub
Colin built something genuinely valuable for the photography community, and his philosophy – community above all else – is one we share. When the opportunity came to take the platform forward, it felt like the right fit.
Colin will remain close to us in a support capacity through the transition and beyond, and we’re grateful for that.
Our immediate priority is a smooth transition. The platform you rely on stays the same. Over time, we plan to modernise the design and improve the experience — but we’ll do that carefully, and with your input.
Who we serve
Photography Clubs
Colin’s myPhotoClub will continue to serve Photography Clubs that are based within Australia. This includes management of their own membership and their own internal competitions between their own members.
Clubs that are based outside of Australia will be managed by photoclubHub.

As a thank-you to myPhotoClub members for your patience through the transition, we have a special loyalty offer for clubs making the move. Get in touch and we’ll talk you through it.
We’d love to hear from you
